new family additions

I'm happy to announce that we have three new and very exciting additions to our family! My brother Andy & his wife Renee welcomed their baby Andrea into the world drug-free & quite quickly I might add on May 25th. She is quite a sweetheart & has already stolen a few hearts.

And our niece Ashley just had a baby girl named Ava as well in North Carolina. We cannot wait to meet & hold her. Stephen's sister April has gone out there to be with both of our nieces and now great-niece! What a great bonding experience that will be. Although, we are missing all of them terribly!

And my best friend (more like sister than friend) had her 2nd baby boy named Joshua March 14th, he is a bit of a miracle boy-a big surprise pregnancy & premie who lived out many many days in the Woodlands hospital. But I'm happy to say he's happy & healthy & thriving now & you'd never know he had a rocky start. And, he's every bit as gorgeous as big brother Joey.

As soon as I get these guys to email me some photos of these cuties, I'll add them to my post. For now you can visit my brothers blog at www.themalcolmfamily.blogspot.com

Adam gets dedicated

Adam's baby dedication at Tomball Bible Church on Father's day.

Our sweet, sweet friends came to witness this important day for Adam. The Jenny's above have been our friends since before our oldest boys were born-we met in our Bradley Childbirth class. From left to right is Shelley, Brent (w/adam) then Seth, Abby & Evan. You guys are great, we thank god for you all!

To your left is the Ingram's. They have stood by us & vice versa through thick & thin! We are so thankful to have them as friends & neighbors as well (due to a bit of negotiating on my part to get them over here!) From left to right is Kamryn, Doris, Mike (w/adam) & Kyndall. Love you guys!

swimming...sweet victory

Ahhh, the night
had a terrific ending though with Dillon getting a medal for his backstroke on a relay! What a champion! (p.s. this top picture was taken just cuz I figured out my camera had sepia option on it!

This was Dillon's last
swim meet for the
summer. His Grammy
and Grampy got to
come & watch him.
As you can see....
that made him very proud!
This is Blake (aka future olympic swimmer) with Dillon-they had a long night ahead of them...
Smimmers, take your mark....Here he is all ready to go. He swam his heart out all season long. So far this night produced some ribbons for him, but he was really wanting a medal, which kept escaping him because the competition was pretty fierce & he was probably one of the youngest ones...

Adam gets a haircut

Cheryl at Joe's barber shop did a terrific job keeping this mischievous toddler still - she gave him a sucker too! She sent us home with a babys first haircut certificate and a lock of hair safely held in a envelope for his baby book. He's growing up entirely too fast for our taste.
