Benny

It just occured to me that I've mentioned Benny in this blog, yet there's no picture of him! Here's one of him as a baby, he's more the size of a horse now, but still very cute. He and Adam are still the best of friends. He makes the rest of us suffer a bit with barking, jumping etc. But we are now faithfully watching the "dog whisperer" and hope to remedy these annoying habits soon. Every boy needs a dog. And every dog needs a boy.

Dillon had his final swim meet for the year the first week of December. He had quite the crowd there to cheer him on. His personal pepsquad included Grampy, Renee, Andy, Nana, Poppie, me, Stephen and Adam. He had a good swim against some very tough competition. He is a very good sport! He has no idea how lucky he is to have a family that loves and supports him so much. I mean, we suffer through swim meets for him (which are impossibly hot, and long, and not to mention LOUD!) But then again, we're awfully lucky to have such a sweet boy in our family.

Visit from "Our Baby"

Here is our sweet baby niece Andrea who came to visit us all the way from Granbury. Here is a shot of her with proud cousin Dillon, he and Adam both fawned over her. Although, Adam had a bit of a problem sharing his mom & Grampy with miss Andrea. Here she is sitting on Nana's lap, Nana was sweet enough to show us how to properly put a bow in her hair for the first time. I know its not a great focused shot, but believe me, it's nothing to do with her because she is gorgeous! And I'm not biased in any way, she truly is a beauty and she is a very good baby. My brother & sister-in-law have no idea how lucky they are. Boy are they in for a shock if baby number two is the polar opposite!!! Isn't that the way it always goes?
