It occured to me that I have not a single picture of Benny in our family blog and that just cannot be. Here is Benny & Maisy lounging together. They keep each other good company!

We decided to take
the kids to the zoo before it
got too hot.


Adam is a huge animal lover, points them out anywhere we go. He was completely enamored with the orangatan's (spelling?), the momma and her baby were so cute & lively. Dillon said they reminded him of watching Americas Funniest Home Videos! It was a good time to go, the animals were all awake and not being lazy & sleepy from the heat. You can see we actually got to see groundhogs! I can't tell you how many times we've been to the zoo over the years & Dillon has gone up in the bubble to see the groundhogs and NEVER seen one! It was a rare treat. We all had a good time right up until naptime when Adam petered out on us. It was a long walk back to the car!
