VACA, cont.
We spent our last day at Big Rocks park in Glen Rose. The water was not quite as clear as
the dinosaur place but it was definitely refreshing. There were mini waterfalls, and
the kids can slide down a slippery slope which Dillon thought was a riot. And the reason
it is called Big Rocks park is because it has giant rocks piled up next to the river. The
boys loved climbing up on them and pretending to be Tarzan.
VACA, cont.
Here the boys are negotiating their way across the river to get to the dinosaur tracks. The pictures really don't even do the place justice, it was a little slice of heaven.
Here they are in front of the Blue Swimming hole #1, man o man that was some pretty water. It looked like something from the Blue Lagoon. Just seeing it makes me want to jump in again!

We spent a full day at Dinosaur Valley in Glen Rose. You won't see any photo's
of Adam next to the life size replicas because they scared him to death! This place
was a lot of fun and right up Dillon's alley. The photo of Adam looking up he is standing
in a dinosaur track, they were massive. There were a lot of tracks to see in the stone's.
The water as you can see was crystal clear and nice & cold. Adam liked all the little
fish swimming by his feet.
VACA!
We spent a week in Granbury visiting Andy & Renee. The Ridge resort we stayed at was perfect and we had a great time. Our first two days we spent on a boat, both boys took a turn at the wheel. Adam believe it or not, actually could steer the thing and avoid the buoys! Thankfully we had nothing but sunshine during our trip.
